Job Description

Your role as a Health & Manager at VodafoneThree is to ensure VBTS customer-dedicated and project delivery teams operate in full alignment with: Health & Safety regulatory requirements, Customer contractual obligations, VodafoneThree policies and industry best practice across build, delivery, and run activities. You’ll act as the primary safety lead for one or more VBTS UK dedicated accounts. This is a critical role where you’ll be the first point of contact for expert Health & Safety advice, supporting the delivery of safe, compliant operations and helping prevent harm to employees, subcontractors, customers and the wider public.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure VBTS customer-dedicated and project delivery teams operate in full alignment with Health & Safety regulatory requirements, Customer contractual obligations, VodafoneThree policies and industry best practice across build, delivery, and run activities
  • Act as the primary safety lead for one or more VBTS UK dedicated accounts
  • Be the first point of contact for expert Health & Safety advice
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer, contractual, and regulatory requirements across a range of activities and projects
  • Provide practical, risk-based advice to support safe and compliant delivery
  • Partner closely with account and project teams to ensure adherence to company procedures and legal standards
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the audit and approval of third-party contractors
  • Support the consistent application of Health & Safety standards across all dedicated account activities

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Health Safety, Environment Law, including the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations
  • Practical experience of Safety Management System delivery and monitoring
  • Practical experience of Safety Systems of Work, generation, delivery and monitoring
  • Self-Development - Keeping up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and Environment Agency (EA) legislation
  • Self-driven with ability to work with the minimum of supervision, while able to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members, suppliers and customers
  • Excellent written, verbal and digital communication and sound diplomacy skills
  • NEBOSH diploma or equivalent and/or working towards NVQ Level 6 or higher
