Job Responsibility:

  • Organize, coordinate, and monitor prevention and protection activities in line with the Labor Code and the Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Conduct regular on-site inspections of offices, common areas, and technical spaces
  • Coordinate with the Occupational Health & Safety Service Provider and deliver introductory, periodic, and on-the-job safety trainings in accordance with Ordinance No. RD-07-2/2009
  • Prepare, update, and ensure visibility of evacuation and fire safety plans together with fire safety service providers
  • Organize employee trainings and evacuation drills
  • Monitor fire detection and alarm systems, hydrants, fire extinguishers, and emergency signage
  • Inspect hydrants and fire extinguishers and ensure timely periodic checks and annual renewals
  • Ensure compliance with the Law on Fire Safety and Civil Protection
  • Maintain all company First Aid Kits, including timely replacement of expired medications and consumables in line with Ordinance No. 3/1987
  • Ensure compliance with Labor Code Art. 287 and Ordinance No. 3/1987 regarding mandatory medical examinations
  • Organize and track periodic measurements of air quality, humidity, and workplace conditions together with the occupational health service
  • Carry out joint inspections with external providers to confirm proper execution of safety measures

Requirements:

  • Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar health and safety role
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Strong PC literacy
  • Relevant higher education degree
  • Solid knowledge of Bulgarian legislation, including the Labor Code, Health and Safety at Work Act, Law on Fire Safety and Civil Protection, Ordinance No. RD-07-2/2009, Ordinance No. 3/1987, and Ordinance No. 3/2004
