Our client is a distinguished, family-owned Tier 2 Commercial Builder with a 50-year footprint across South Australia. Due to a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, they are seeking an experienced SQE Advisor who is passionate about proactive safety, quality craftsmanship, and environmental stewardship.

Job Responsibility:

Contribute to the continuous improvement of SQE systems and strategies
Coordinate audit programs and conduct site inspections to ensure 100% compliance with drawings and specs
Lead hazard identification, risk analysis, and incident investigations to prevent future occurrences
Analyse SQE data to provide meaningful insights and monthly reports to the Operations Manager
Champion a "zero-defect" culture by ensuring high-quality workmanship across all project phases

Requirements:

5+ years in a WHS/SQE role within the construction industry
Deep understanding of SA SQE Acts, Regulations, and Codes of Practice
Proficient in Microsoft Suite and modern safety/reporting technology
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines without close supervision
Relevant tertiary qualifications in WHS or a related field
