We are now seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join our Security Division, playing a vital role in strengthening our safety culture, governance, and performance across diverse contracts and environments. About the Role: Reporting to the Health & Safety Advisor (Security), you will support the Division as a whole, including assisting with new contract mobilisations and delivering safety training to the workforce. You will be instrumental in driving compliance, promoting safety leadership, and ensuring best practice across our operations.
Job Responsibility:
Monitor and ensure H&S compliance across the Security Division, meeting KPIs and client standards
Develop and audit safe systems of work and conduct safety inspections and site-based audits
Lead and assist in incident investigations, identifying root causes and corrective actions
Champion a positive safety culture through briefings, campaigns, and local engagement
Deliver safety training and support contract mobilisation processes
Liaise with client safety representatives, attending meetings, tours, and forums
Maintain accurate monitoring and reporting records using Notify and client safety platforms
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute to safety transformation initiatives
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Health & Safety role
NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
Strong technical knowledge of health and safety compliance and governance
Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
Skilled communicator with strong report writing and IT proficiency
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Demonstrated commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Experience using digitalised safety platforms
Nice to have:
Previous experience in the Security industry
Full UK driving licence
Trainer/Assessor (Level 3) certificate
SIA Licence (DS or SO)
