TOWN OF MILTON JOB POSTING POSITION: Health Agent GRADE: 7, $2,534.45 – $3,280.05 DEPARTMENT: Health DATE: March 30 RESPONSIBILITIES: Enforces local and state public health laws and regulations through inspections, investigations, and compliance activities. Conducts routine and complaint-based inspections of food establishments, housing, tobacco, pool, septic, animal and other regulated facilities. Investigates public health concerns and complaints and takes appropriate action to protect community health. Collaborates with establishment owners, residents, property owners, businesses, and stakeholders on health and safety requirements. Maintains accurate records and prepares reports in accordance with local and state regulations. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of bachelor’s degree in public or environmental health or a related field; three years of experience in public health or environmental health; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
