Job Responsibility:
Strategic Leadership: Provide clear, authentic, and inspiring leadership to drive positive change and ensure the school's continued success
Curriculum Development: Coordinate and deliver a holistic, creative, and academically engaging curriculum that places pupil needs at the centre of learning
Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of school management, including staff leadership, professional collaboration, and pupil safeguarding
Teaching & Learning: Deliver high-quality teaching for 0.4 of the timetable, with a focus on Maths and/or English to GCSE level, and vocational courses
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with industry professionals, local authorities, parents, and carers to provide comprehensive support for every student
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A proven record of good or outstanding teaching practice
Extensive experience working with children with SEMH and SEND, including managing challenging behaviour and supporting those with adverse childhood experiences
The ability and willingness to teach Maths and/or English to GCSE level, and experience in delivering vocational BTEC, Functional Skills, or ELC courses
Strong management skills and the ability to work effectively with various professional networks
A genuine commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children
A deep-seated commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
