Job Responsibility:
Strategic Leadership: Provide clear, authentic, and inspiring leadership to drive positive change and ensure the school's continued success
Curriculum Development: Coordinate and deliver a holistic, creative, and academically engaging curriculum that places pupil needs at the centre of learning
Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of school management, including staff leadership, professional collaboration, and pupil safeguarding
Teaching & Learning: Deliver high-quality teaching for 0.4 of the timetable, with a focus on Maths and/or English to GCSE level, and vocational courses
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with industry professionals, local authorities, parents, and carers to provide comprehensive support for every student
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A proven record of good or outstanding teaching practice
SEND & SEMH Expertise: Extensive experience working with children with SEMH and SEND, including managing challenging behaviour and supporting those with adverse childhood experiences
Teaching Capability: The ability and willingness to teach Maths and/or English to GCSE level, and experience in delivering vocational BTEC, Functional Skills, or ELC courses
Leadership & Management: Strong management skills and the ability to work effectively with various professional networks
Passion & Resilience: A genuine commitment to making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children
Safeguarding: A deep-seated commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
