Why the Role Is Important - Engineers are the core of everything we create, and their work is instrumental in our success. Senior Staff Engineers lead our most complex headless CMS engagements, defining reference architectures, guiding enterprise-scale delivery, and shaping NTT DATA's headless and composable practice. Must reside in the US.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead client discovery sessions for enterprise headless CMS engagements
  • Define enterprise-grade content architecture across Contentful and Contentstack
  • Architect composable digital experience platforms (DXPs)
  • Establish platform engineering standards, integration patterns, and governance models
  • Oversee the architecture and configuration of development environments, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployment models
  • Mentor and guide senior and mid-level engineers
  • Partner with client technology leaders as a trusted headless and composable architecture advisor
  • Define content modeling strategies, taxonomy frameworks, and API orchestration patterns
  • Manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Lead the technical workstream of pre-sales engagements
  • Identify and develop new service offerings and thought leadership assets
  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert on Contentful, Contentstack, and adjacent composable ecosystem technologies

Requirements

  • 10 to 12 years of advanced enterprise experience designing and delivering digital experience solutions, with 5+ years specialized in headless CMS and composable architecture
  • 8+ years of experience building and leading enterprise-scale front-end applications using React, Next.js, and related JavaScript ecosystem technologies
  • 8+ years of experience architecting multi-source content delivery systems, API orchestration layers, and omnichannel digital experience platforms

  • Deep expertise in Contentful and Contentstack
  • Contentful Professional Certification and/or Contentstack Expert Certification
  • Experience designing enterprise content governance models
  • Expertise in Contentful's App Framework, Contentstack's Automation Hub
