Job Description:

As Head Therapist, you will support the SPA Manager in ensuring the highest standards of service delivery across all SPA treatments. You will play a key role in coordinating the daily operations of the therapy team, acting as an internal advisor and technical reference for therapists. Through hands-on supervision, coaching, and training, you will guide the team in the correct execution of aesthetic treatments, massages, and all SPA services, ensuring consistency, excellence, and alignment with Four Seasons standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the SPA Manager in the daily coordination of SPA operations, with a primary focus on treatment quality and service execution
  • Supervise and guide therapists during service delivery, ensuring technical excellence, consistency, and adherence to brand and hygiene standards
  • Act as a technical expert and internal advisor for all SPA treatments, including massages, aesthetic services, and wellness rituals
  • Deliver ongoing on-the-job training, coaching, and skill development for therapists, supporting onboarding and continuous improvement
  • Monitor guest feedback related to treatments and proactively address service gaps through corrective actions and retraining when needed
  • Ensure correct application of treatment protocols, product usage, and equipment handling
  • Collaborate with the SPA Manager on updating treatment standards, supporting the implementation of new services and seasonal offerings
  • Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative team culture aligned with Four Seasons values

Requirements:

  • Previous hands-on experience as a SPA Therapist in a luxury spa or wellness environment (massage and/or aesthetics)
  • Proven technical expertise across a wide range of spa treatments and modalities
  • Experience in a senior or lead therapist role, with responsibility for guiding or training other therapists, preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for service quality and guest satisfaction
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and support team members with a constructive and professional approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English and Italian
  • A genuine passion for wellness, learning, and continuous improvement
  • Legal right to work in Italy required
