Job Description

You will be responsible for supervising the team in the provision of quality laundry, accommodation, mess-room, and janitorial services, always adhering to health and safety.

Job Responsibility

  • Supervision of services within the Mess operational business area
  • Accountability for the effective supervision and performance of frontline colleagues within the mess, ensuring delivery of steward services to the required standard
  • Assist with function preparation as directed by the mess manager i.e. silver cleaning, dining room layout, napkins etc
  • Completion of company paperwork
  • Reception duties & messing
  • Cash handling and till operation

Requirements

  • Must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years
  • Must have legal right to work in the UK
  • Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
  • Previous experience of working in a Mess in an operational role
  • Good numerical and communication skills
  • Knowledge of health & safety and food safety
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
