Job Description:

Head Registered Veterinary Nurse role at an independent veterinary practice in Hampshire. The practice offers first opinion & referral services including orthopaedics, cardiology and advanced CT imaging. The organization has grown from a small 1 vet practice into a market leader in the Hampshire area, employing over 2 dozen RVNs, with plans to open an additional practice later in the year.

Job Responsibility:

  • Direct line manager of team of nurses
  • Report to Operations Director
  • Oversee rotas, staff training and development, clinical standards, growth opportunities and patient pathways
  • Overall responsibility of nursing quality of services
  • Mentoring students and new graduates
  • Facilities maintenance
  • Recruitment

Requirements:

  • Experienced Veterinary Nurse
  • Significant post-registration experience in a small animal clinic
  • Exposure to referral services is a bonus
  • Clinical coaching certification is a bonus
