Head Project Control (AGM/DGM Level) for Tata Semiconductor Assembling & Testing (TSAT) facilities greenfield project in Jagiroad, Assam.

Job Responsibility:

  • As the Head of Project Controls, you are a strategic leader responsible for overseeing organization’s project control processes
  • Developing and implementing project control strategies, processes, and procedures and monitoring their effectiveness
  • Oversee managing project schedules, budgets, and cost management and identifying and mitigating project risks
  • Lead a team of project controls professionals and provide them with guidance, mentorship, and training
  • Build healthy working relationship with global project delivery offices spread across India
  • Provides pro-active cost, schedule, and risk management support to India Project Delivery organization to ascertain project health and driving successful on-time and within budget execution of projects, both, domestic and international projects
  • Technical leadership and continuous improvement of schedule, cost, risk, and change management functions

Requirements:

  • Post graduate or Masters’ degree in construction / project management + minimum 18+ years of experience in managing EPC projects specifically in the domain of project controls OR Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, and twenty two (22-25) years’ experience
  • PMP, PMI-SP, CCP, or CPE Certifications are desirable
  • 6+ years of experience in a leadership role in project controls in large EPC organizations
  • Strong understanding of Primavera and with overall planning process and best practice on industrial or large projects
  • Must have exposure to resource levelling in Primavera
  • Proven experience of managing a team size of 25 or more professionals
  • Must possess excellent team building, listening, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
  • Positive attitude, Leadership ability and Stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience on managing project controls on multi-billion-dollar project
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, power point and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a high paced project environment
  • Experience with ERP system SAP, EDMS, EcoSys / Omega365 and Acumen Fuse is preferred
  • Understanding of accounting / finance functions and systems
  • Experience with cost control including project estimating, forecasting and cost management including reporting
  • Experience in setting up, monitoring, controlling and forecasting the quantity-based field progress measurement system (FPMS)
  • Construction experience with an ability to maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions in a construction environment

Nice to have:

  • PMP, PMI-SP, CCP, or CPE Certifications are desirable
  • Experience with ERP system SAP, EDMS, EcoSys / Omega365 and Acumen Fuse is preferred
