Job Responsibility

  • Oversee recruitment strategy, workforce planning, and hiring KPIs
  • advise managers on candidate selection
  • Manage and mentor recruitment team members, ensuring effective execution of hiring plans
  • Design and oversee onboarding and employee development programs
  • coach managers and HR team on performance management and engagement
  • Oversee payroll processes handled by Payroll Specialist, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution of escalated issues
  • Manage compensation structure, job evaluations, and employee benefits programs
  • Maintain and communicate HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements to stakeholders
  • Monitor compliance with labor laws, conduct investigations, and address employee grievances and workplace conflicts
  • Prepare and present weekly/monthly HR reports to senior management using PPT and visual analytics, providing insights and recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Employment Relations, Payroll, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years leading or supervising an HR team
  • Minimum 1 year of payroll processing or payroll oversight experience (ADP or similar systems preferred)
  • Working knowledge of federal and provincial employment legislation
  • Experience handling employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution
  • Experience in HR strategy, workforce planning, and leading HR initiatives
  • Experience preparing and presenting HR reports and analytics to senior management (PPT/visual reporting preferred)
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is a strong asset
  • CHRL and/or PCP certification (or actively working toward certification) is preferred
