Head Of Workforce Planning & People Operations - SEC, Glasgow | Full-Time / Permanent. The Head Of Workforce Planning & People Operations at SEC oversees the strategy, planning, and execution of workforce operations. This role ensures the venue is staffed with a qualified, motivated, and engaged casual workforce. The role supports operational efficiency, leadership continuity, and organisational resilience.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the Levy People team at SEC, ensuring adherence to daily, weekly, and monthly processes
  • Identify team training needs and implement development initiatives
  • Manage People Team rotas, absences, annual leave, and employment-related issues
  • Ensure the team maintains Levy’s People Signature and standards of professionalism
  • Design and execute large-scale recruitment campaigns for casual staff
  • Collaborate with Marketing/Communications to source talent via multiple channels
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process and provide guidance to hiring managers
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to improve employee satisfaction and reduce turnover
  • Identify high-potential staff and lead talent development and succession planning
  • Conduct regular one-to-ones and personal development reviews for the People Team and casual workforce
  • Strategically allocate workforce resources to meet operational demands
  • Analyse workforce data to anticipate gaps, trends, and deployment needs
  • Oversee payroll for casual staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Resolve payroll-related queries and ensure compliance
  • Act as the primary point of contact for casual workforce HR issues
