Job Description

Ultahost is looking for a skilled and experienced Head of WordPress & Shared Hosting to lead and optimize our core hosting products that serve thousands of global users. This leadership role involves owning the product performance, security, support processes, and feature roadmap for our shared and WordPress hosting environments.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee the performance, stability, and security of Ultahost's shared and WordPress hosting infrastructure
  • Lead a team of system admins, support staff, and developers managing hosting environments
  • Manage cPanel/WHM servers and ensure consistent service quality across all shared plans
  • Drive innovation in speed, scalability, and security of WordPress hosting
  • Plan and launch new hosting features, plugins, and value-add services
  • Work closely with support teams to improve ticket resolution time and client satisfaction
  • Monitor uptime, abuse handling, performance metrics, and backups
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to position WordPress hosting competitively

Requirements

  • 7+ years experience managing shared hosting or WordPress hosting platforms
  • Strong knowledge of cPanel/WHM, LiteSpeed, MySQL, PHP, and server hardening
  • Familiarity with WordPress optimization (caching, CDN, security plugins, etc.)
  • Experience leading technical teams and support operations
  • Solid understanding of web hosting infrastructure and customer experience
  • Data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring mindset

  • Performs aircraft grooming and security searches
  • Perform boarding and gate duties (e.g., assisting and directing guests, making announcements, process standby's and upgrade requests)
  • Process and secure guest luggage. Files and maintains luggage claims as necessary including damaged, delayed and pilferage
  • Loads and offloads luggage and cargo with the use of conveyor belts
