Job Description

This is a hybrid role, requiring attendance to our Cardiff office twice per fortnight. It’s an exciting time for Admiral as it continues to embark on its diversification strategy with our newest product – Pet Insurance, launched in the summer of 2022 with huge expansion since through both organic growth and acquisition. The business is on track to be a top 5 player in the market and is looking to embark on the next phase of its disruption strategy to push the business to even greater heights by really focussing on the customer experience and outcomes.

Job Responsibility

  • Create strategic plans and budgets to ensure delivery supports our growth ambitions
  • Lead the end-to-end identification and execution of transformation initiatives, ensuring each delivers against clearly defined OKRs
  • Oversee the lifecycle of all initiatives—from scoping and launch to delivery and scale- down
  • Partner closely with technology teams to ensure that initiatives are technically feasible and aligned with platform strategy
  • Deliver the BAU backlog, balancing transformational change with tech debt
  • Work closely with the Pet Leadership team & IT to prioritise, communicate and deliver the BAU roadmap
  • Build and lead high-performing, cross-functional teams that deliver at pace and to high quality
  • Being responsible for the recruitment, performance management, development and engagement of all staff within the Transformation & Product Delivery team
  • Keep up to date with and have a strong awareness of external market trends and developments in the Product and Change delivery space

Requirements

  • Ability to translate strategic goals into executable, outcome-driven initiatives
  • Proven track record of delivering both simple & complex transformation programs
  • Strong grasp of digital platforms, data architecture, and emerging technologies
  • Deep understanding of customer needs, operational processes, and commercial levers including regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
  • Inspiring leader who can mobilise diverse teams and foster a high-performance culture
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and experimentation
  • Experienced in leading change in complex environments
  • Commercially skilled, experience of building business cases and assessing and prioritising value across a range of initiatives
