Job Responsibility
Drive Revenue Growth: Accountable for meeting annual agency revenue targets, securing incremental revenue via search and off-net network channels
Enforce Operational Discipline: Establish a strict trading regime and deal-tracking system to ensure teams consistently hit weekly performance goals ('green weeks')
Execute Strategic Trading: Navigate complex holding company and operating company deal structures to strategically shift ad spend from other media categories into the portfolio
Deliver Accurate Forecasting: Provide precise monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts to give financial partners a reliable view of current business performance
Lead through Influence: Serve as a collaborative leader ('first amongst equals') to align peer sales leaders and support teams during high-stakes negotiations
Requirements
Minimum of 15 years in media sales, with a proven track record specifically in dedicated trading roles
Deep, pre-existing relationships within the Australian buying infrastructure and major agency holding companies
Highly numerate with a demonstrated ability to architect and execute complex commercial deals
Proven competence in driving, executing, and managing quarterly and annual business planning
Strong capability to influence internal teams and partner effectively across a matrixed organization
