Job Responsibility

  • Drive Revenue Growth: Accountable for meeting annual agency revenue targets, securing incremental revenue via search and off-net network channels
  • Enforce Operational Discipline: Establish a strict trading regime and deal-tracking system to ensure teams consistently hit weekly performance goals ('green weeks')
  • Execute Strategic Trading: Navigate complex holding company and operating company deal structures to strategically shift ad spend from other media categories into the portfolio
  • Deliver Accurate Forecasting: Provide precise monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts to give financial partners a reliable view of current business performance
  • Lead through Influence: Serve as a collaborative leader ('first amongst equals') to align peer sales leaders and support teams during high-stakes negotiations

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years in media sales, with a proven track record specifically in dedicated trading roles
  • Deep, pre-existing relationships within the Australian buying infrastructure and major agency holding companies
  • Highly numerate with a demonstrated ability to architect and execute complex commercial deals
  • Proven competence in driving, executing, and managing quarterly and annual business planning
  • Strong capability to influence internal teams and partner effectively across a matrixed organization
