Job Description

The Head of TMT Consulting at NTT DATA UK&I is a strategic leadership role focused on driving transformation in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in TMT consulting, a proven track record in strategic transformation, and the ability to build strong client relationships. Responsibilities include leading a high-performing team, developing go-to-market strategies, and representing the company at industry events.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading the TMT Consulting team across the UK and Ireland, setting the strategic direction and driving operational excellence
  • Building and growing trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders across global technology firms, media companies, and telecoms providers
  • Developing go-to-market strategies and thought leadership to differentiate NTT DATA in a competitive landscape
  • Shaping and delivering complex digital, data, and operating model transformation programmes
  • Collaborating with sales, delivery, and global industry leads to drive new business and expand our footprint in key accounts
  • Hiring, mentoring, and developing a diverse and high-impact consulting team
  • Representing NTT DATA at industry events, panels, and executive briefings

Requirements

  • Extensive leadership experience within TMT consulting – either from a major consultancy or industry leadership role
  • A track record of delivering strategic transformation engagements with tangible business outcomes
  • Proven ability to shape consulting propositions and lead business development efforts, including multi-million-pound bids
  • A deep understanding of current and emerging trends in technology, media, and telecoms, including AI, cloud, 5G, and content distribution
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing P&L, driving revenue growth, and building long-term client value
  • An inclusive leadership style with a passion for building diverse, collaborative teams

  • Performs impartial analysis of the borrower, group and transaction structure based on review of term sheet, market study, financial model, legal due diligence, and research
  • Reviews in detail and/or prepares internal rating models (Anadefi), making corrections as needed
  • Drafts RPC Opinions and performs thorough credit analysis, as the case may be, meeting deadlines responsibly
  • Makes recommendations in consultation with Sector Credit Officer regarding exposure, ratings, structure
  • Verifies the accuracy of data in CACIB internal risk systems including Phidias, Eurecca, and Anadefi
  • Completes timely all internal risk systems
  • Coordinates with Paris questions which may arise in credit proposal and analyses for names which are under Head Office delegation
  • Responds to requests from Loan Review and internal and external auditors
  • Completes special assignments and ad hoc projects requested by CACIB NY and / or RPC Paris
