Job Description

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a head of Testing. This role will be Inside of IR35, so you will be required to use an FCSA Accredited Umbrella Company.

  • Can quickly assess current maturity and define a structured, realistic uplift plan
  • Able to coach team members through best‑practice approaches and model effective behaviours
  • Comfortable working closely with the existing test lead to guide, upskill, and support his continued development
  • Strong mentoring capability – able to provide constructive challenge, support decision‑making, and build confidence within the test function
  • Able to rapidly come up to speed and add value in a fast‑moving programme
  • Focused on enabling the team to meet immediate milestones – specifically the first Go‑Live at end of July
  • Operates collaboratively with programme leadership, delivery partners, and cross‑functional teams
  • Communicates clearly and credibly with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Builds trust quickly and can act as a stabilising and confidence‑building presence
