As a Head of Territory Sales you will be responsible for developing, leading and executing sales strategy in line with the overall business strategy across a national Sales team to drive revenue growth, market penetration, customer retention and customer acquisition. This role oversees the Regional Territory Sales Managers who are responsible for all of the Sales team within the SME classification including the Inside Sales Executives, Customer Relationship Mangers and Business Development Executives. Leading and implementing change to drive revenue growth and maximising profitability through a collaborative approach at a senior level will be key to the success of the role.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and deliver SME sales strategy aligned with company goals
Set and manage targets, forecasts, and performance metrics
Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent
Achieve revenue, volume, and margin targets across all territories
Optimise sales processes and CRM usage for efficiency
Build strong customer relationships and support key negotiations
Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Experience teams
Provide regular performance insights to senior leadership
Ensure compliance with company policies and standards
Requirements:
Strategic thinker with strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Proven leadership in building, coaching, and motivating high-performing sales teams
Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills
Ability to manage complex sales cycles and enterprise accounts
Strong financial acumen and understanding of revenue models
Experience scaling sales teams and entering new markets
Skilled in CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and using data to drive performance
High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and a track record of delivering profitable growth
Willingness to travel extensively across the UK
