Head of Technical Product Management – Renewables. Our client is a global leader in renewable energy solutions, specializing in power systems and grid automation. They’re looking for a dynamic Head of Technical Product Management to drive innovation in their Renewable Products division. Job Responsibility:

  • Lead product strategy for cutting-edge renewable automation and control software (e.g., SCADA, power plant controllers, hybrid energy management)
  • Drive development of a multi-year product roadmap, ensuring alignment with market trends and emerging technologies
  • Lead a team of Technical Product Managers, fostering a culture of innovation and cross-functional collaboration
  • Engage with utilities, regulators, and key industry stakeholders to understand market dynamics and customer needs
  • Act as a technical sales liaison, supporting the sales team and expanding market share through strategic product positioning

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of experience in Technical Product Management for T&D Automation & Control software
  • Strong background in renewable power plant controls, SCADA, and hybrid energy management systems
  • Experience in cloud platforms, AI/ML, and edge computing for power systems is highly valued
  • Proven ability to lead and scale high-performing product teams
  • Experience with utilities, regulatory bodies, and grid modernization initiatives
  • At least 3 years’ experience in technical sales or supporting sales teams is a plus
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have:

An MBA or Master’s in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field
