Head of Tax

• Lead the Global Tax Function: Provide strategic and operational leadership for all direct and indirect tax matters
• Drive Tax Strategy: Develop and implement a forward-looking international tax strategy
• Oversee Global Compliance and Reporting: Lead the preparation, review, and submission of all tax filings
• Strategic Business Partner: Serve as the go-to expert for the C-suite and senior leaders
• Lead Tax Audits and Risk Management: Proactively manage tax audits and resolve disputes with tax authorities globally
• Guide Transfer Pricing and Inter-company Transactions: Advise on and operationalise the Group's transfer pricing policy

• Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in a senior tax leadership role within a dynamic multinational company or a tax consultancy
• Deep, up-to-date knowledge of international tax law, including transfer pricing frameworks, VAT, and corporate tax
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
• Exceptional communication skills
• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Law
• A professional tax advisor qualification (e.g., Steuerberater, CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) is highly desirable
• Proficiency in German and English is essential
• Strategic thinker with a high level of integrity and a keen sense of business acumen
• Comfortable with a hands-on approach
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in another fintech is preferable
