Job Description

Working in and alongside the People Team, Operations and Head Office Senior Leaders, this role leads the brand’s Talent with the key focus include building an inclusive talent pool for GAUCHO and creating and executing a strong succession planning across the business, ensuring an internal growth pipeline. They will coach and support our Operational leaders, driving employee engagement through our values & culture whilst assisting the People Team with HR projects in our bid to be ‘The Best’. The Head of Talent, Culture & Employer Branding is responsible for the brand’s recruitment strategy as well as identifying, developing, and managing GAUCHO’s talent. They work closely with employees across all departments, identifying the skills needed to be successful, and create pipeline talent to achieve success. This includes identifying essential core competencies and skill gaps across the organisation, developing comprehensive succession plans, and measuring effectiveness. From Head Office, Management to our Hourly Team, this role is responsible for the whole recruitment process, internally and externally across all levels of the business. This role is responsible for all employer value proposition, external and internally facing employer branding and Careers marketing. This role ensures our Careers platform, LinkedIn and internal comms platform GAUCHO & Me Comms, are regularly updated with engaging content driving GAUCHO’s people first culture delivering the Best Places to Work 2024 & 2025. This role also manages all brand Apprenticeships and also manages our Awards strategy and applications. The role is accountable for our charity strategy, maintaining charity partnerships and all monthly board reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a Recruitment, Careers or Culture role with previous exposure of managing an array of cultural projects
  • Proven record of industry stakeholder relationships, networking and understanding of hospitality
  • Proven management of Careers and ATS platforms, ensuring stakeholder effectiveness and smooth delivery across the brand
  • A comprehensive understanding of industry recruitment, succession and talent planning, managing budgets and organisational planning
  • A proven relationship with L&D, collaborating on succession planning and ensuring pipeline for Leadership programmes
  • A proven track record of coaching, mentoring and role-modelling – integrity is key
  • A strong people manager who can inspire and engage operational managers and head office leaders and teams
  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously without close supervision, possessing great interpersonal working skills
  • Excellent written English
  • Friendly and approachable
  • Able to communicate and influence at all levels, able to maintain confidentiality
  • Willing to learn and travel to visit our UK based Restaurants and events
