Job Description

Lead strategic direction and transformation of Aurum PropTech’s rental living businesses — Nestaway and Helloworld. The focus is to accelerate growth, drive profitability, optimize occupancy, and expand through technology, partnerships, and new models. This role will shape and operationalize the long-term roadmap of established, multi-city, high-volume rental businesses.

Job Responsibility

  • Drive business transformation through clear, data-led strategies aimed at revenue growth, asset utilization, and sustainable profitability
  • Identify expansion opportunities across cities, formats, and customer segments, aligning with market demand and occupancy trends
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking (Stanza, NoBroker, Zolo, etc.) to identify whitespace and strategic differentiators
  • Build and own the 3-year business strategy — including product innovation, digital integration, and partnership-led expansion
  • Collaborate with Business Finance to build P&L impact models and track ROI of strategic initiatives
  • Support the CEO in board and investor presentations by preparing key strategic insights and market updates
  • Establish OKRs, drive performance governance, and ensure smooth cross-functional execution

Requirements

  • 10–15 years in corporate strategy / consulting / business leadership, ideally within PropTech, Real Estate, Hospitality, or Consumer Platform sectors
  • Proven experience managing or advising large-scale rental / living / co-living businesses
  • Strong financial acumen and commercial thinking
  • ability to translate strategy into measurable business outcomes
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and presentation skills
  • MBA/PG in business, or equivalent. Consulting + operator background preferred.
  • Background in Consulting or prior startup leadership experience preferred.

  • Prior experience in rental/managed living
  • Experience with data-product driven growth loops
