We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect Leader to continue to build, lead, and scale our Solutions Architecture function across EMEA. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical leadership, customer impact, and team development. Joining at an exciting stage following the general availability of our serverless ClickHouse Cloud product, you will play a key role in shaping how ClickHouse is positioned, adopted, and scaled across the region. You will lead a growing team of Solutions Architects while remaining close to customers, partners, and the field.

  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering leadership to drive successful outcomes across enterprise and commercial customers
  • Serve as a senior technical advisor to customers, engaging at all levels from C-suite stakeholders to architects, data engineers, and developers
  • Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, cloud-native solution designs, including architecture, migrations, workflows, and data visualisation
  • Guide and support high-impact proofs of concept (POCs) and reference architectures that accelerate adoption and expansion
  • Evangelise ClickHouse’s vision, architecture, and value proposition across the EMEA market, including participation in executive briefings, events, and community initiatives
  • Drive regional initiatives that help customers transform raw data into actionable insights aligned with clear business outcomes
  • Provide feedback from the field to inform product strategy, roadmap priorities, and go-to-market execution

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical leadership role, with prior people management experience
  • Strong background working with open-source software business models and cloud-first technologies
  • Hands-on experience designing and supporting scalable, highly available distributed systems
  • Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical engagement when needed
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business goals and technical solutions
  • Experience operating in fast-growing, high-change environments and building teams from early stages

Nice to have:

  • Experience deploying applications or selling into environments with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Familiarity with database technologies, data modelling, and analytical workloads
  • Prior experience supporting multiple countries or regions within EMEA
What we offer:
  • Flexible work environment - ClickHouse is a globally distributed company and remote-friendly. We currently operate in 20 countries
  • Healthcare - Employer contributions towards your healthcare
  • Equity in the company - Every new team member who joins our company receives stock options
