Job Description:

The Edilportale Development Division creates and manages the Archiproducts.com, Edilportale.com, Archilovers.com and Archiportale.com portals. We are team of highly qualified professionals, engaged in the analysis and development of enterprise web applications in a Microsoft .Net environment. We are always on the lookout for innovative technologies and new talents. As part of our company growth plan aimed at expanding our teams, we are looking for a Head of Software Development.

Job Responsibility:

Supervision, planning and control of all company software projects, contributing to the identification of the most suitable business solutions
Defining business strategies to manage the lifecycle of all products and offer a vision of the future while ensuring an appropriate cost/benefit ratio
Managing the project portfolio, identifying priorities and resources, and collaborating with the different business sectors involved in the implementation and application of projects
Leading the IT division teams and being responsible for the management and professional development of their human resources
Supporting the analysis and understanding of needs by interfacing with stakeholders involved in the implementation of a project, managing critical issues by proposing appropriate solutions and taking the necessary corrective actions

Requirements:

Prior experience of at least 5 years in the field of design and project management relating to software development, specifically web applications, in medium‑to‑large software companies
Leadership, strategic vision and team management skills
Master’s Degree in a scientific field (Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics)
Excellent English knowledge
Thorough knowledge of Business Management and the main project management tools
Knowledge of Agile or similar methodologies and project management tools
Reporting and BI expertise
Strong aptitude for coordinating complex and innovative processes
Ability to work towards goals, strong problem solving skills and excellent communications and interpersonal skills
