Job Description:

Head of Social Copy – Leading Global Beauty Brand (Maternity Cover, 12 months). January start date! An established beauty and lifestyle brand is looking for a Head of Social Copy to lead its social storytelling across multiple platforms. Working closely with the Director of Social and Content, Creative, and Marketing teams, you’ll shape how the brand communicates online day-to-day, contributing to campaigns, live activations, and on-set content.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead social copy and scriptwriting across all social campaigns
  • Oversee the creation of captions, stories, scripts, and on-set copy for fast-paced content production
  • Ideate and develop creative foundations for campaigns, 360 activations, and product launches
  • Maintain the brand’s tone of voice across all platforms, including senior leadership–facing content
  • Mentor and manage a direct report within the social team
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Creative, Product Development, Digital) to ensure cohesive storytelling
  • Adapt copy in real time on set, ensuring high-quality output across multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in social copywriting and scriptwriting for beauty, fashion, or lifestyle brands
  • On-set experience with the ability to adapt scripts and copy live
  • Strong understanding of social media trends and social-native language
  • Experience leading and mentoring small teams in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with organic and paid social campaigns
  • Confident seniority level with decisiveness and strong opinion
  • Highly creative and culturally aware
