Job Description:

Head of Short-End Rates Cash Trading at managing director level to manage a team of traders across US and other regions. Lead trader in Short-End Rates Cash team with responsibility for growing the business. Focus on becoming market leading business globally for Corporate and Institutional clients. Involves client strategy, trading strategy, quant modeling guidance, technology guidance, and personnel strategy.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and develop a team of trading professionals
Manage positions, risk, and profitability of securities trading business
Engage clients, compliance, portfolio managers, and industry leaders
Identify opportunities to develop trading programs and procedures
Develop relationships with securities dealers and Portfolio Managers
Act as liaison with industry and regulatory organizations
Determine trading strategy to meet risk, compliance, and portfolio deliverables
Interpret and develop trading architecture and policies
Collaborate with peers and risk compliance portfolio managers
Interact with brokers, clients, and regulators
Manage allocation of people and financial resources
Develop culture of talent development

Requirements:

8+ years of Securities Trading experience
4+ years of management or leadership experience
12+ years of experience trading at a bulge bracket bank
Consistent track record of strong PnL
Experience running a global team and responsible for a global PnL
Experience on numerous infrastructure projects within Rates trading space
Management experience for 5+ years
Strong sense of urgency and commitment
Strong business sense with strategic and tactical orientation
Highest level of integrity and good judgement
Strong stakeholder skills
Strong commercial judgement
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Comfortable working in a matrix organizational environment
Partnership skills
BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field
