We are partnering with a leading financial institution to appoint a Head of Security Architecture to provide enterprise-wide leadership in defining and executing secure-by-design technology architecture across the Group. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced security architect with strong domain expertise and a proven track record in driving enterprise-scale security transformation. The Role Reporting to senior technology leadership, you will define, govern, and continuously enhance the organization’s security architecture strategy. Acting as the technical authority, you will validate and endorse solution designs to ensure they are secure, scalable, and operationally viable across infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms. You will play a critical role in embedding security into digital transformation initiatives, modernization programs, and enterprise technology adoption.
Job Responsibility:
Define and drive the enterprise security architecture roadmap aligned to business and regulatory priorities
Embed secure-by-design principles across systems, platforms, infrastructure, and cloud environments ...
Lead strategic security initiatives including Zero Trust and cyber defense programs
Conduct structured maturity assessments, benchmarking, and capability development planning
Provide architectural oversight across major technology programs to ensure alignment with approved security blueprints
Quantify and communicate technology risk in business terms to executive stakeholders
Lead vendor and product evaluations, balancing best-of-breed solutions with platform standardization
Champion security awareness and governance across business units through workshops and engagement forums
Act as the security authority in architecture and technology governance committees
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
10–15 years of progressive experience in IT Security and Technology Architecture within Financial Services
Minimum 5 years in a senior architectural leadership role, driving enterprise-scale security initiatives
Strong hands-on exposure across multiple security domains including security tooling, operations, engineering, and solution consulting
Proven experience defining security strategy, frameworks, and maturity models and translating them into practical execution
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
