Develop and implement strategic commercial plans, in close collaboration with the General Manager and Revenue, to source, drive, and grow revenue across all segments
Monitor results, adjusting strategies and activities to ensure objectives and targets are consistently met
Manage and lead the sales team, fostering a highly proactive and high-performing environment
Ensure close working relationships with regional and brand leads, as well as fostering strong connections with the wider global sales team
Provide invaluable local market knowledge to help us stay ahead of the competition and spot new opportunities
Collaborate with key teams ensuring essential information and insights are shared
Manage a portfolio of key accounts, taking the lead on rate negotiations and account management activities
Requirements:
Ideally, you have 5+ years’ experience in a senior sales role, preferably within the hospitality sector, and a proven track record of driving revenue
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and are a natural at building strong and lasting relationships, both internally and externally
You're passionate about hotel sales and goal-driven, always looking for ways to exceed targets
You’re able to introduce structured ways of working into a fast-paced environment that relies on being flexible and moving at speed
Experience using OPERA Cloud desirable
