We are seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Head of Sales to build and lead our sales function from the ground up. This role is specifically tailored for a Talent Agency / Staffing environment, requiring a deep understanding of selling talent solutions, managing client relationships, and structuring scalable revenue engines. As our first sales leader, you will define the go-to-market strategy, build the sales playbook, and execute initial deals yourself. This role combines strong strategic leadership with a necessary operational and executional component. You will report directly to the CEO and serve as a key member of the leadership team.
Job Responsibility:
Design and execute Solvedex’s sales strategy focused on Talent-as-a-Service and staffing solutions
Define target customer segments, value propositions, and pricing models
Build and continuously optimize the sales funnel and GTM approach
Establish sales KPIs, forecasting models, and revenue targets
Collaborate closely with founders and leadership on the company growth strategy
Personally drive outbound and inbound sales efforts in the early stages
Close key accounts and build long-term client relationships
Develop and refine sales messaging specific to talent/staffing solutions
Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiation, and closing
Build the sales playbook from scratch (scripts, processes, CRM workflows)
Define the sales technology strategy, leading the selection of CRM and tools to support scalable growth
Lay the foundation for future sales team hiring and scaling
Leverage knowledge of the U.S. market to identify opportunities and trends
Position Solvedex effectively within the competitive staffing landscape
Provide insights into buyer behavior, especially for talent acquisition leaders
Requirements:
+5 years of experience in Sales
Proven experience in sales leadership within a Talent Agency, Staffing Agency, or TaaS environment
Strong track record of closing deals in the U.S. market
Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a startup environment
Experience building or scaling a sales function from early stages
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or similar)
Fluent English
Nice to have:
Background in consulting (strategy, operations, or commercial consulting)
Experience in high-growth startups or early-stage companies
Familiarity with talent marketplaces, nearshore/offshore staffing models
