Job Responsibility:
Develop EDP’s distributed generation business in Italy and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive sales and market expansion for photovoltaic systems targeting the B2B sector
Define and execute the sales strategy to achieve corporate objectives, including market penetration, revenue growth, and customer acquisition
Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
Utilize various sales channels, including direct sales, partnerships, and digital platforms, to maximize outreach and drive revenue growth
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
Utilize data analysis and forecasting techniques to guide business decisions and achieve sales targets
Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management
Work collaboratively with operations teams to align strategies, refine value propositions, and optimize the sales cycle for maximum impact, ensuring high performance and the achievement of sales goals
Manage and lead the sales team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and achievement of sales targets
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the renewable energy sector, with a strong preference for experience in photovoltaic systems
Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the B2B market
In-depth understanding of the photovoltaic industry, including technology, market dynamics, and regulatory environment
Experience in defining and executing a successful sales strategy
Experience in utilizing multiple sales channels to drive revenue growth
Outstanding leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken
