In this role, you will lead the ECMO business in international markets, drive market development, strengthen partnerships, and support regional sales teams in achieving sustainable growth. You will combine strategic market expertise with leadership, working closely with internal departments and external partners to implement sales and portfolio strategies.
Job Responsibility
Build, lead, and develop an international team to achieve sales and market development goals
Own regional responsibility for ECMO business development in EMEA, Eastern Europe, and Latin America, including assigned product partners
Strategically support and guide regional sales teams in market expansion and partner management
Implement and execute sales and portfolio strategies across managed markets
Drive revenue growth and sustainable business development with both existing and new sales partners
Develop and execute annual go-to-market strategies for internal sales units and external partners
Build and maintain an international network of key opinion leaders in coordination with internal departments
Prepare markets for transition from third-party distributors to in-house sales organizations
Ensure compliance and governance in collaboration with sales partners and leadership of the corresponding team
Manage and further develop global customer service operations
Requirements
15+ years of medical technology sales experience, ideally in extracorporeal heart-lung support
Engineering degree or equivalent, ideally complemented by management training or an MBA
Solid knowledge of ECMO technologies and clinical/market requirements
Proven leadership of international teams and complex sales structures
Track record in international market development and strategic partnerships
Project management skills and experience with cross-functional initiatives
Excellent communication and negotiation skills and strong intercultural competence
Structured, strategic, and assertive working style
Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%
Excellent German and English skills
