Kleinanzeigen is Germany’s largest re-commerce platform, combining unique inventory from C2C and B2C sellers with a simple, trusted and local buying experience. We have more than 300K active commercial sellers on Kleinanzeigen, the majority of them micro businesses, complemented by a fast-growing segment of SMBs, specialised dealers, and selected national brands with high-quality used inventory. We are entering a new growth cycle: with more sophisticated pricing, API-based integrations, new PRO packages, and a revamped consultative sales motion, we aim to elevate our commercial seller ecosystem to the next level. To achieve this, we are hiring a Head of Sales, who will build a high-performing, data-driven sales engine that can scale with our ambitions.
Job Responsibility:
Own the end-to-end commercial seller sales strategy and performance across Tele Sales, Inhouse Sales, Back Office, and Sales Marketing
Build a data-driven sales organisation with unified KPIs, forecasting models, dashboards, and a strong performance cadence
Lead, coach, and develop sales teams and sales agency partners, ensuring role clarity, target ownership, and high-quality execution
Drive strategic SMB growth supported by category pricing, new PRO packages, API integrations, and targeted sales motions
Strengthen our consultative sales motion through clear segmentation, tailored customer journeys, modern coaching frameworks, and consistent pipeline standards
Partner closely with Product, Analytics, Marketing, and Operations to align sales initiatives, inform product development, and enhance lead quality
Ensure scalable processes, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across all sales channels and supporting functions
Requirements:
8+ years of sales leadership experience
Experience steering both high-volume telesales and strategic SMB/mid-market sales teams
Highly analytical, confident with forecasting, segmentation, complex datasets, KPI modelling, and performance diagnostics
Deep experience managing outsourced sales agencies and driving accountability, quality, and productivity at scale
Excel at stakeholder alignment across GTM, Product, Data, and Marketing and thrive in a matrix environment
Track record of transforming teams toward value-based, consultative selling with strong pipeline and activity discipline
Strong communicator and talent developer, skilled at coaching teams through change, growth, and performance improvement
Fluent in German and English
Leadership presence required to influence at senior levels
