Compass Associates are proud to be working with a valued client in their recruitment for an experienced Head of Sales & Marketing to join the senior leadership team of a well-established luxury elderly care provider operating across Hertfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the organisation's commercial strategy, taking responsibility for driving occupancy growth, increasing private fee revenue, and strengthening brand presence across a portfolio of premium care homes. The successful candidate will work closely with operational leadership teams, supporting enquiry generation, improving conversion performance, and ensuring a consistent customer journey from initial enquiry through to admission. This role will combine both strategic leadership and operational involvement, with the successful individual expected to work collaboratively across the organisation while also maintaining a hands-on approach to sales performance, marketing initiatives, and relationship management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience within a senior sales and marketing leadership role
  • Minimum of 5 years' sales experience within the private care home sector
  • Previous experience supporting regional or multi-site operations
  • Demonstrable track record of driving occupancy growth and achieving commercial targets
  • Strong understanding of enquiry management and conversion strategies
  • Experience within digital marketing, including PPC, SEO, website management and content creation
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong IT skills and experience using CRM systems
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly
