Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Head of Sales for a established MNC that specializes in specializes in the automotive industry.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive Growth and Strengthen Brand Equity
  • Consolidate and implement the annual sales operating plan (AOP)
  • Monitor sales performance and gross profit across brands, channels, and key customers
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Marketing teams to deliver accurate forecasts and ensure sufficient product availability
  • Expand Distribution and Develop Channels
  • Formulate and execute distribution strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Track distribution coverage, channel penetration, and business growth to optimize market reach and performance
  • Analyze Market Trends and Competitor Activities
  • Assess the effectiveness of strategic and tactical sales initiatives to align with market demands
  • Partner with Marketing and Pricing teams to manage and enforce pricing policies that enhance competitiveness and profitability
  • Develop and Strengthen the Sales Force
  • Work closely with HR to build a best-in-class sales team focused on achieving an optimal balance between sell-in and sell-out activities
  • Lead, mentor, and coach team members
  • provide guidance on problem-solving and performance improvement
  • Evaluate and recommend performance appraisals, promotions, recognition, and competency development to maintain a high-performing, motivated, and capable team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree/ diploma or equivalent sales training or experience
  • Availability for regular business travel
  • Extensive business-to-business sales experience, preferably in similar industries
  • Excellent planning & organizational skills
