Job Description

The Head of Sales and Service will lead Linx’s efforts to grow its client base, deepen broker relationships, and deliver an exceptional service across its underwriting portfolio. This role combines strategic sales leadership with operational oversight of service delivery, ensuring that Linx’s commercial goals are met while maintaining its reputation for responsiveness and excellence.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with brokers and clients
  • Identify new business opportunities through market analysis and broker engagement
  • Oversee service delivery standards across underwriting teams, ensuring timely and accurate responses to broker submissions
  • Collaborate with underwriting, operations, and technology teams to streamline workflows and improve client experience
  • Monitor service metrics and implement improvements to maintain high engagement scores
  • Work closely with product development, marketing, and underwriting to align sales and service strategies with business goals
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive execution of client solutions
  • Support underwriting teams in managing large, complex risks across property and casualty lines
  • Ensure alignment between sales efforts and underwriting appetite

Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a proven track record in sales, business development, and service leadership
  • Experience building business books and hiring underwriters
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and CRM skills
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada
