Job Description:

Head of Risk & Control for Payments Operations for NAM Cluster - Operational Risk Group Manager responsible for managing payment risk teams, establishing strong controls framework, providing ongoing controls oversight and support, monitoring key risk indicators, and ensuring adherence to all relevant policies and standards for the Payments business in NAM.

Job Responsibility:

Manage payment risk teams for the NAM Cluster
Manage payment risk teams for Domestic Payments Operations
Manage the risk and control within the payment Operations lifecycle
Ensure the Payment Operations MCA appropriately captures the Risks, Controls and severity
Lead the operational risk events cycle, including capture, escalation and management
Lead business level programs to address themes of operational risks events
Work with business, operations and technology to ensure remedial actions are taken
Shape and define governance model for NAM Payments Operations risk
Lead in operational risk event reduction senior forums, working groups and committees
Development of business level procedures for Operational Risk Data capture
Prepare reports for senior management
Support stakeholders and provide guidance on escalation of operational risk events
Provides control advice and guidance to Payment Operations organization
Create and track Key Risk Indicators, metric triggers and thresholds
Oversee implementation of operational risk policies, standards and procedures
Represent the Business in reviews conducted by 2nd, 3rd LoD and external Auditors
Develop and maintain a robust Risk & Control program to support NAM Cluster Payments Business

Requirements:

10-12 years relevant experience
Significant experience in Operational Risk and/or Payment Operations
Ability to manage through influence to drive implementation across a global organization
Knowledge of Payments business-related products and/or processes, specially related to Operational Risk Events, Loss Capture System Reporting and policy requirements
Outstanding communication and presentation skills required
Track record leading Control related projects and programs
Strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise, demonstrated success interacting with senior leaders
Ability to produce results against tight deadlines and navigate ambiguity
Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, Economics & Finance, or related discipline
