Job Description

In this role of Head of Rewards and Global Mobility the Job holder will report to HO - HR for Airbus India and South Asia.

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for establishing and running the Rewards, Compensation & Benefits and Mobility operations for Airbus in India and South Asia
  • Ensuring the consistent deployment of Airbus grading in India in line with Airbus globally
  • Ensuring the market benchmarking for rewards and benefits for entire Airbus India organization
  • Consistently analyze the market trends and optimize the salary budget in line with cost targets
  • Ensure the availability of the data for the managers and leaders to make right decisions on salary benchmarking
  • Work with relevant external agencies for timely data availability
  • Identify and implement the right / relevant rewards and recognition programs
  • Ensure smooth management of Global Mobility from India
  • Ensure the support for all assignees, end to end management for mobility in and out from India
  • Management of payroll, benefits and taxation of the employees and assignees
  • Selection and management of right vendors for reward analysis and global mobility support in India (all locations)
  • Ensuring the data availability for the decision making on rewards and salary related topics for the various skills and domain
  • Presenting the market report and analysis to the leadership for timely decision making
  • Defining the rules and timelines for HRBPs and managers for the salary reviews and various retention schemes
  • Collaborate with other enabling functions like procurement, finance in order to ensure smooth functioning of onboarding and payments of all the vendors used
  • Liaise with Business leaders and Sr. HRBPs to assess the business need and propose the salary and grade broad-bands
  • Support the mobility process and settlement for each assignee throughout their assignment in India
  • Regular review with each mobility vendor (Visa process, house search support, regular support partners etc.)
  • Formulating and managing the mobility process, policy, tools and documentation in India
  • Support the mobility team from India and participate in regular mobility meetings

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resource Management / Business
  • Significant experience in different HR functions preferably in an international environment with transnational projects specifically in Rewards or Global Mobility
  • International experience in rewards, Compensation & Benefits domain, preferably in Europe
  • Good knowledge of the HR processes/reward operations
  • Knowledge of Global Mobility, applicable taxation and challenges
  • Good command over data analysis and statistics
  • Excellent communication and conflict management skills, teamwork and networking abilities in a transnational environment
  • Ability to challenge and push back in an appropriate manner, and to influence senior management
  • 10+ years of relevant experience
