Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12-month interim maternity cover as Head of Reward at Boots. This role plays a critical role in both shaping and delivering the reward proposition for pay, incentives and reward reporting across more than 50,000 colleagues.

Job Responsibility

  • Contribute to the strategic development and evolution of the company's reward programmes
  • Develop reward proposals and recommendations that reflect market trends and business priorities
  • Provide regular insight and research into the latest reward practices
  • Advance our reward technology to support business needs
  • Identify new and innovative approaches to reward that drive business performance
  • Deliver annual pay and bonus cycles on time, in budget and to the highest standards of accuracy
  • Work with stakeholders across all areas of our business to develop and review reward interventions to support their business goals

Requirements

  • Significant experience leading the reward agenda in a large workforce, for example in retail and with unions and healthcare & professional populations
  • Experience of designing and delivering a range of variable pay and incentive programmes
  • Outstanding leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High level of attention to detail and drive for accuracy, and a track record of delivering large impact projects to time and budget.
