This is a hands-on, multi-site role where you’ll work closely with Store Managers to drive operational excellence, elevate in-store execution, and ensure a consistent, high-quality customer experience across all locations. You’ll play a key role in coaching leaders, embedding strong retail disciplines, and bringing marketing initiatives to life in-store. This role will suit someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and enjoys balancing strategy with on-the-ground execution.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and support multi-site retail operations, ensuring consistency in store standards, service, and execution
Coach and develop Store Managers through regular check-ins, 1:1s, and performance conversations
Drive a strong customer-first culture aligned to brand values and service expectations
Oversee store operations including stock control, inventory processes, and compliance standards
Deliver hands-on Visual Merchandising coaching, training, and store audits
Translate marketing campaigns into seamless in-store execution, including events and activations
Coordinate store events, ensuring readiness, execution quality, and post-event feedback
Maintain operational reporting including weekly check-ins, action tracking, and monthly summaries
Monitor key operational metrics including VM compliance, training completion, and store standards
Ensure Health & Safety, compliance, and risk management practices are upheld across all stores
Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing and Supply Chain, and external partners such as landlords and service providers
Requirements:
6+ years’ retail leadership experience across multiple sites in New Zealand
Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop Store Managers
Strong operational background with a focus on consistency and execution
Hands-on Visual Merchandising experience with the ability to train and audit
Experience delivering in-store execution of marketing campaigns and events
Excellent communication, organisation, and reporting skills
A proactive, adaptable approach with the ability to work across multiple priorities
Familiarity with NZ Health & Safety and compliance requirements
Ability to travel between store locations (once a quarter out of Auckland)
