Own the full media landscape and act as the strategic partner for brands investing in media, within a fast‑paced international e‑commerce business. As the Head of Retail Media for the Nordics, you will own the end-to-end media strategy for our most mature markets. You will work with major brand houses to maximize their visibility on our platforms. This is a role for someone who understands the 'Swedish Snus Culture' and the 'Norwegian Pouch Market' and knows how to monetize that intent through data-driven advertising.
Job Responsibility
Nordic Retail Media Ownership: Drive and exceed retail media targets for our brands such as Snusbolaget.se and Snuslageret.no
Strategic Account Management: Manage a portfolio of key Nordic suppliers, acting as a consultant to help them achieve their brand goals via our onsite channels
Inventory Management: Balance the 'Goldilocks' zone of ad frequency—ensuring brand partners get visibility while maintaining the premium user experience our Nordic customers expect
Advanced Reporting: Use our proprietary 1st-party data to provide deep-dive insights into Nordic consumer behaviour and helping brands understand their campaign performance over time
Regulatory Guardrail: Stay ahead of Swedish and Norwegian marketing laws to ensure all media creative is compliant but effective
Cross function collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including commercial partnerships, marketing, business unit managers and creative teams to align retail media initiatives with overall business objectives
Industry trends: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape and emerging technologies to identify new growth opportunities
Budget management: Develop and manage budgets for retail media campaigns, tracking expenses and reporting on financial performance
Requirements
9+ years in E-commerce, Retail Media, or Digital Sales
Experience within the Nordic FMCG or regulated goods sectors is a massive advantage
Deep understanding of the digital landscape in Sweden and Norway, including consumer trends
Commercial DNA: comfortable presenting to senior figures, building trust through knowledge and experience
Analytical Skills: Proficient in Excel, Google Analytics, and ideally BI tools like PowerBI or Tableau
Cultural Fit: thrive in a fast-paced, 'fail fast, learn faster' environment typical of a Stockholm tech scale-up
