Provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for residential and respite services in line with the services vision and national standards
Ensures regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and adherence to safeguarding and HIQA standards
Oversees the provision of person-centred, high-quality, and efficient care to both adults and children across multiple centres
Leads and develops a multidisciplinary team, managing performance, staffing levels, rostering, and HR processes in collaboration with the HR
Develops, reviews, and implements policies and strategic plans to drive service improvement and innovation
Works with the Finance Department to manage budgets, monitor expenditure, and ensure value for money
Builds strong relationships with service users, families, regulatory bodies, and community stakeholders, promoting collaboration and communication
Requirements
A Level 8 Degree in Nursing (RNID, RPN, or RGN with relevant disability services experience) is preferred, however we will also consider candidates with an equivalent Level 8 or higher qualification in Health or Social Care
An appropriate management qualification in health or social care (minimum QQI Level 6)
Minimum of 5 years’ management experience in a similar setting
Demonstrated clinical, managerial, and administrative capacity to fulfil the role
Extensive experience within social care / disability services, including supporting individuals with complex needs
Proven leadership capability with experience managing teams and driving service delivery
Experience in financial and budget management
Evidence of successfully delivering service improvement or change programmes
