Job Description:

The position involves leading Research Marketing activities for the EMEA Region, collaborating globally across teams, and delivering investment research to stakeholders. The role ensures compliance, facilitates research dissemination, and enhances the commerciality of research products.

Job Responsibility:

Lead for EMEA Region in all aspects of Research Marketing activities, with a deep understanding of all HSBC Global Research products and services and adherence to all compliance and regulatory practices
close working relationship with analysts and Global Investor Access teams, regular collaboration with global research management, product management, analysts, supervisory analysts, and Research Compliance
proactive coordination with Research Marketing colleagues in the US and Asia, and with trading and sales in Global Markets
research outreach to key stakeholders in Corporate and Wealth businesses to facilitate the delivery and dissemination of investment research
ensure the commerciality of research and maintain ongoing dialogue with users to ensure timely feedback is acted upon
adhere to all laws, regulations and regulatory guidance
maintain effective processes and controls identifying and mitigating risks
ensure timely escalation and resolution of all control issues and reputation risks

Requirements:

Deep understanding of Research products and services and related compliance and regulatory practices
demonstrated ability to establish strong collaborative relationships across Global Markets to help stakeholders to use and access research products and services
experience in working with a multi-location team, adapting to regional requirement whilst maintaining a global perspective
strong communication skills, and experience at leveraging content through different channels including social media
