Job Description:

A leading global investment organisation is hiring a senior technical leader to define and build a next-generation Research & Analytics Platform from the ground up. This is a true 0→1 role with enterprise-wide impact, supporting a broad spectrum of users across investment teams, from quantitative researchers to portfolio managers and non-technical stakeholders. You’ll work closely with senior leadership to set the vision, define the roadmap, and deliver a platform that meaningfully improves investment decision-making at scale.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the end-to-end design and build of a global research and analytics platform
  • Own the early strategy phase, including build vs buy decisions, vendor selection, and architectural direction
  • Consolidate fragmented data, tooling, and workflows into a unified platform used across the investment function
  • Operate across a complex, global stakeholder landscape (multiple teams, regions, and user types)
  • Transition from hands-on leader to builder of teams, scaling out a high-performing platform function over time

Requirements:

  • Experience building research, data, or analytics platforms within financial services
  • Proven track record operating in large, complex organisations
  • Ability to own both strategy and execution from early discovery through to delivery
  • Strong technical grounding (engineering background preferred), but comfortable being less hands-on over time
  • Experience working with investment, research, or quant teams is beneficial
