Job Description:

The Head of Reporting/Controller role is responsible for managing the financial and regulatory reporting and the related controls and responsibilities include oversight and providing support to the relevant finance leads and team members. The purpose is to manage and oversee the process regarding all reporting elements across finance and ensuring that strong controls are applied and implemented during the reporting processes.

Job Responsibility:

Manage financial and regulatory reporting and related controls
Contribute to integrity and control of company's financial books and records
Ensure strong control framework supporting financial and regulatory reporting
Drive proactive tracking and remediation of control-related issues
Identify areas for process improvements to achieve efficiencies
Support improvement of data quality for financial and regulatory reporting
Support CFO with ad-hoc requests
Provide support for management committee meetings
Responsible for external statutory audit process
Ensure local legal entities are in full compliance with Legal Entity Standards Policy
Manage team of financial professionals
Proactively manage Citi Shared Services partners
Participate in Regional/Cluster Finance initiatives
Assess risk when making business decisions
Partner with senior stakeholders across the firm
Work with peers on implementation of U.S. regulatory changes
Maintain and enhance effective internal control structure

Requirements:

Chartered Accountant or equivalent
Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
CA or MBA preferred
+10 years of extensive experience within the banking and financial services industry
Intermediate to extensive knowledge of regulatory reports
Exposure to Basel III and IV regulations
IFRS Reporting and stress testing frameworks experience
Able to navigate through a large organization to streamline and summarize multiple information points
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Strong technical problem-solving skills
Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic environment
Work well as part of a team
