Job Description

Our client, are a large housing provider, are currently looking for a Head Of Repairs & Maintenance to lead their direct labour team on day to day responsive repair contracts. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and reputable business.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead direct labour team on day to day responsive repair contracts
  • Work alongside Commercial Manager and Head Of Planned & Decarbonisation ensuring P&L, budgets and deadlines are met
  • Ensure level of service and quality is to the highest standard
  • Cost control
  • Creating CPP & programming of works
  • Budgeting
  • Report directly to the MD
  • Manage direct team including Operations managers, contract managers, supervisors, a direct labour team & office staff
  • Report directly to Repairs director
  • Build teams to hit and overachieve KPI's and Targets

Requirements

  • Extensive building knowledge and experience responsive maintenance and partnering frameworks
  • Experience managing multiple site teams, a large DLO, strategically planning projects
  • Ability to problem solve in complex situations
  • Good knowledge of up to date legislations
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Ability to create a strong working environment where everyone is working as a team to achieve targets and goals
  • Ability to build strong relationships with the client and team members
  • Ability to manage P&L on contracts
