Job Description:

Head of Regulatory Reporting role within HSBC Global Asset Management, responsible for establishing and managing Regulatory Reporting in India while collaborating with global teams. The role involves business partnering, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing data quality, and supporting strategic programs within Asset Management Operations Group.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drive transformational change across Global Network Markets
  • Lead target operating model design for regulatory reporting globally
  • Support global team management and development
  • Ensure risk and control accountability
  • Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, CCO, Legal for ongoing regulatory compliance
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements
  • Act as data subject matter expert on Change Initiatives
  • Monitor data quality and implement issue management processes
  • Support Enterprise Data Management framework
  • Assess impact of regulatory changes on data sourcing
  • Coordinate vendor processes and evaluate vendor performance
  • Collaborate with IT areas on vendor management
  • Provide industry insight and analysis to Asset Management

Requirements:

  • Over 10 years of prior senior management in operational teams essential
  • Experience leading and managing teams across multiple geographies essential
  • 10+ years of experience running operational controls and managing operational risk essential
  • Proven experience in Data, Valuation and/or Risk and meeting Regulatory requirements
  • Knowledge of regulations pertaining to financial institutions, particularly Asset Management
  • Strong track record of change delivery and process improvement
  • Proven strategic thinker and thought leader with subject matter expertise
  • Experience working in a diverse and constantly changing technical and business environment
  • Confident to challenge the norms, breaking down legacy and out of date practices
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong relationship management skills
  • Positive attitude: 'Can do' approach and willing to give everything a go
