Support local Management, Divisions, and Asia Pacific Head in the development of the cluster and region; Participate and contribute as member in the Cluster Management Team and RD cluster Management Team; Steer and coordinate Regional Development resources in cluster in alignment with cluster Head; Identify new business opportunities; propose and help develop portfolio of growth topics (incl. M&A); Lead, drive, or support projects of BLs, Divisions, Region, or Group in cluster and region; Drive and coordinate selected activities as topic head (primus inter pares) across AP-RD clusters; Initiate, facilitate and support cross-BL/Division, resp. cross-functional activities, in particular engage, support, align with RD&I, MSE, and TE in shaping India cluster specific setup (i.e. engineering desk); Liaise and coordinate with key stakeholders in Cluster and Region, inside and outside of Evonik; Ensure alignment with businesses and functions to prioritize resources and maximize impact; Monitor macroeconomic and market trends, competitive landscape and socio-political environment; Support advocacy approach, help build-up and maintain Evonik network with strategic stakeholders; Actively share knowledge and best practices locally, regionally, and globally; Lead, drive, and develop strategic growth and asset options, align with internal & external stakeholders; Nurture and establish Strategic & External Manufacturing partnerships

The Cluster Head Regional Development handles a broad and versatile spectrum of tasks, that flexibly needs to adapt to current requirements in Evonik and the local market
Requirements:
Chemical Engineering or Chemistry with Master’s degree in Business Management
10-12 years of proven expertise in strategic business development or managing strategic projects within the Specialty Chemicals sector or related industries
Demonstrated ability to drive growth, develop strategies, and execute complex projects in dynamic business environments
