Job Description:

Head of Reception position at The St. Regis on the Bund Shanghai, ensuring optimum guest service, staff management, and maintaining quality standards in a luxury hotel environment.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service
Inspect storage areas for organization and cleanliness
Complete scheduled inventories and stock necessary supplies
Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating employees
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
Identify and implement new ways to increase organizational efficiency
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
At least 2 years of related work experience
At least 1 year of supervisory experience
Ability to inspect grooming and attire of staff
Complete opening and closing duties
Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety
Complete work orders for maintenance repairs
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds
Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Move up and down stairs and/or service ramps
